Am I too old to start dance lessons?

I’m 14, and have never had any formal dance training. I’m afraid to take lessons too because I’m sure all the other people will be so much more experienced than me. I really want to try lessons though, but I can’t find a class for beginers my age anywhere. What do I do or join? Is it bad to start at this age?
